City striker Bellamy out for season
Apr 21, 2009, 12:23 GMT
London - Manchester City manager Mark Hughes confirmed on Tuesday that striker Craig Bellamy is likely to miss the rest of the season with a knee injury.
The Wales international has missed City's last three games after suffering the injury during City's 3-1 UEFA Cup quarter-final first leg defeat to Hamburg.
'Craig has got to have complete rest for two weeks then he comes back for strength work,' said Hughes.
'Hopefully he might get the last couple of games, but the probability is that he won't.'
Bulgaria striker Valeri Bojinov could return for Saturday's trip to Everton, but winger Shaun Wright-Phillips is a doubt with an ankle injury and full-back Pablo Zabaleta will miss out with a hamstring problem.
