Dec 16, 2007, 16:45 GMT
Madrid - Real Madrid plan to return to the United States for pre-season games in the summer of 2008, the sports daily Marca reported on Sunday.
Although the Spanish champions have still made no official announcement about their summer plans, Marca said that the club has already arranged matches for early August in Salt Lake City, New York and Chicago.
On their August 2006 American tour, Real president Ramon Calderon promised that they would return for the inauguration of the new stadium of Real Salt Lake, a club with massive connections to the Spanish giants.
Marca also said that Real will organize a tour of Japan and China for the summer of 2009, in order to improve their merchandising position in those countries.
