Feb 3, 2007, 18:28 GMT
Madrid - David Beckham has again been left out of the Real Madrid squad, by coach Fabio Capello.
The Spanish media had been speculating that Beckham could be in the squad list for Sunday's home game against Levante after recovering from his recent knee problems.
Indeed, Capello had hinted at Beckham's return on Thursday.
However, the Italian coach seems reluctant to go back on his decision, taken three weeks ago, to not pick Beckham again after the latter announced that he would join Los Angeles Galaxy in June.
The other notable absence from the squad, announced on Saturday afternoon, is that of veteran Italian defender Fabio Cananvaro, who is suffering from a pulled thigh muscle.
In contrast, homegrown veterans Raul Gonzalez and Guti return the the squad after recovering from injury.
Real are third in 'La Liga', four points behind leaders Barcelona and three behind second-placed Real Sociedad.
