Vieira next on Barcelona shopping list: report

Madrid - Barcelona are interested in adding Juventus anchorman Patrick Vieira after snapping up defenders Gianluca Zambrotta and Lilian Thuram from the disgraced Italian club, a Spanish newspaper reported Sunday.
Mundo Deportivo reported in its online edition that the reigning European champions were prepared to offer 10 million euros (12.7 million dollars) plus the unwanted Thiago Motta for Vieira.
Vieira had seemed bound for Milan club Internazionale, but Mundo Deportivo claimed that the veteran midfielder 'seems to be very interested' in Barca's offer.
The Spanish club signed Zambrotta and Thuram last week for a combined fee of 19 million euros (24 million dollars).
