Report: AC Milan sign French talent Gourcuff

Milan, Italy - Italian football giants AC Milan have signed rising French star Yoann Gourcuff from Rennes for the next five seasons, La Gazzetta dello Sport reported on Thursday.

The Devils are said to have paid the French club 3.5 million euros (4.4 million dollars) for the transfer of the 19-year-old midfielder, whom many in France consider the heir of retirement-bound Zinedine Zidane.

In addition, a less valued but more experienced 30-year-old midfielder, Christian Brocchi, appears set to rejoin Milan after being loaned off to Fiorentina last season.
