Beckenbauer looks to keep Ballack at Bayern until his career ends

Hamburg - Bayern Munich president, Franz Beckenbauer, is looking to keep playmaker Michael Ballack at the German Bundesliga champions until the end of his career.
"It's obvious that we are all interested in (ensuring) that Ballack ends his career at Bayern," Beckenbauer told Wednesday's Sport Bild newspaper.
German international Ballack's has only one year left on his contract with Bayern, which runs out at the end of the 2006 season, and the 28-year-old has recently mentioned the idea of playing abroad.
