Lens, France - Georgia celebrated a first-ever rugby World Cup victory by beating Namibia 30-0 in Lens on Wednesday.
Three tries laid the foundation for the convincing Pool D win in wet conditions at Stade Felix-Bollaert.
Hooker Akvsenti Giorgadze, in his 50th international, went over in the 37th minute, while two penalties and a conversion from fly half Merab Kvirikashvili helped Georgia to a 13-0 half-time lead.
A third Kvirikashvili penalty and a conversion from an Irakli Machkhaneli try added to the scoring after the break before centre Davit Kacharava raced clear in the dying seconds for a converted try.
Namibia's tournament ends after four successive defeats, while Georgia are up against host nation France in their last match on September 30.
After three matches each, Argentina top the pool on 14 points, with France on 10, Ireland on 9, Georgia on 5 and Namibia on 0.
