Ingemarsdotter, Kershaw win cross country sprints

Szklarska Poreba, Poland - Ida Ingemarsdotter of Sweden won the women's World Cup cross country sprint while Canada's Devon Kershaw just edged the men's race in Sklarska Poreba Friday.
Ingemarsdotter crossed the line ahead of Maiken Falla of Norway and Kikkan Randall of the United States, both 0.1 second behind, in the 1.6km freestyle race.
Norway's Marit Bjoergen leads the overall standings on 1,813 points, ahead of Justyna Kowalczyk of Poland (1,807) and Therese Johaug of Norway 1,320.
In the men's 1.6km race, Kershaw just caught Nikolay Morilov of Russia on the line in a dead-heat finish, with Norway's Ola Vigen Hattestad third.
Dario Cologna of Switzerland leads the overall World Cup standings on 1,603 points, ahead of Petter Northug of Norway (1,199) and Kershaw (1,053).
A woman's 10km and men's 15km in classic style are scheduled at the Polish venue Saturday.
