Los Angeles - James Jones of the Miami Heat will defend his NBA Three-Point Shootout title, the league announced on Wednesday.
Jones heads a field of long-distance sharpshooters that includes Heat teammate Mario Chalmers, All-Stars Kevin Love of the Minnesota Timberwolves and Joe Johnson of the Atlanta Hawks.
Orlando Magic's Ryan Anderson and New Jersey Nets' Anthony Morrow fill out the roster for the contest, set for Saturday February 25 at the Amway Arena in Orlando during NBA All-Star Weekend.
Last year, Jones scored 20 points in the final round to beat Boston's Paul Pierce and Ray Allen.
Jones will be bidding to join two-time winners Jeff Hornacek, Jason Kapono, Mark Price and Peja Stojakovic. The record is three championships by Larry Bird and Craig Hodges.
Elsewhere: LA Clippers guard Chauncey Billups underwent successful knee surgery to repair a torn Achilles tendon, the club announced.
Billups suffered the season-ending injury in an overtime victory against the Orlando Magic on February 6.
In 20 starts this season, Billups averaged 14.9 points, 4.0 assists and 2.5 rebounds per game.
