Feb 9, 2012, 6:16 GMT

Los Angeles - Dwight Howard had 25 points with 24 rebounds, and the Orlando Magic drilled 17 three-pointers to beat the visiting Miami Heat 102-89.

Ryan Anderson hit five from behind the arc en route to 27 points Wednesday night and pulled down 11 rebounds to pace the Magic, which have won four of five since a season-high four-game slide.

Dwyane Wade scored 33 points while LeBron James had 17 on just 5-of-15 shooting for Miami, which lost for just the third time in the past 14 outings in the opener of a six-game road trip.

Frenchman Tony Parker exploded for 37 points to go with eight assists, and Tim Duncan had 16 points and 11 rebounds, leading the visiting San Antonio Spurs to their sixth-straight victory 100-90 over the Philadelphia 76ers.

Tyson Chandler collected 25 points with 11 rebounds while Jeremy Lin had 23 points and 10 assists as the short-handed New York Knicks whipped the Washington Wizards 107-93.

The visiting Knicks rolled to their third-straight victory despite the absence of their top scorers, Amar'e Stoudemire, out because of a family death, and Carmelo Anthony, who has a groin strain.

Elsewhere, the Cleveland Cavaliers slipped by the visiting Los Angeles Clippers 99-92; the visiting Milwaukee Bucks trimmed the Toronto Raptors 105-99; the visiting Detroit Pistons clipped the New Jersey Nets 99-92; the Atlanta Hawks soared past the visiting Indiana Pacers 97-87; and the visiting Chicago Bulls ran over the New Orleans Hornets 90-67.

The visiting Dallas Mavericks dropped the Denver Nuggets 105-95; the Memphis Grizzlies topped the Minnesota Timberwolves 85-80; and the visiting Houston Rockets rolled the Portland Trail Blazers 103-96.
