Lamy Chappuis wins to extend World Cup nordic combined lead

Val di Fiemme, Italy - Jason Lamy Chappuis clinched the nordic combined World Cup event in Val di Fiemme Friday to extend his lead in the overall standings.
The Frenchman was 5.3 seconds up on Bjoern Kircheisen of Germany after the jump in Predazzo and 10km race in Cavalese, with Norway's Mikko Kokslien third, a 10th of a second further back.
Lamy Chappuis has 856 points in the standings, followed by Alessandro Pittin of Italy on 674 and Akito Watabe of Japan on 573.
