Los Angeles - Paul Pierce scored 24 points, rookie E'Ttuan Moore added a career-high 16, and the short-handed Boston Celtics stormed from 27 down in the opening half to beat the Orlando Magic, 91-83 Thursday night.
After holding the Magic to an embarrassing franchise-low of 56 points in Monday's 31-point beat-down, the Celtics trailed by 21 at halftime before their hosts disappeared.
Boston outscored Orlando 54-25 after intermission, including 27-8 in the final quarter, en route to their third straight win and most improbable comeback in 16 seasons.
Dwight Howard collected 16 points with 16 rebounds to pace Orlando, which made just 2-of-17 field goals in the fourth quarter.
Blake Griffin had 20 points, nine rebounds and eight assists, while Mo Williams and Chris Paul scored 18 apiece, as the LA Clippers slipped past the visiting Memphis Grizzlies, 98-91.
Rudy Gay tossed in 24 points while Spaniard Marc Gasol had 18 points with 11 rebounds for the Grizzlies, who pulled within 91-89 with 79 seconds left after trailing by 16 early in the game, but lost their second in a row following a seven-game winning streak.
In other news: Milwaukee Bucks centre Andrew Bogut will be sidelined indefinitely after an MRI revealed he suffered a fractured left ankle during Wednesday's game against the Houston Rockets.
'The results of the MRI identified a left ankle fracture which will keep Bogut out indefinitely,' Milwaukee general manager John Hammond wrote on the Bucks' Twitter account.
Bogut is averaging 11.3 points and 8.3 rebounds in just 12 games this season.
