Timberwolves spoil Mavs' championship ring ceremony night

Los Angeles - After the Dallas Mavericks received their 2011 NBA Championship rings in an emotional pre-game ceremony, the Minnesota Timberwolves ran circles around them.
Kevin Love collected 31 points and 10 rebounds, hours after signing a whopping four-year, 62-million-dollar contract extension, and the visiting Timberwolves surprised the reigning NBA Champions, 105-90 Wednesday night.
Spanish rookie sensation guard Ricky Rubio had 17 points, 12 assists while seven rebounds for Minnesota, which had lost 18 of the last 20 meetings in the lopsided series.
Jason Terry scored 17 points while Shawn Marion added 15 for the Mavericks, who without injured All-Star forward Dirk Nowitzki (sore right knee) had their seven-game home-winning streak halted.
Danny Granger scored 22 points, Roy Hibbert added 20, including a dunk with 13 seconds left and the Indiana Pacers dealt the Chicago Bulls their first home loss of the season, 95-90.
League most valuable player Derrick Rose scored 24 points for Chicago (16-4 overall and 8-1 at home). Ronnie Brewer contributed 20 points and 10 rebounds in place of injured forward Luol Deng (torn ligament in his left wrist).
LeBron James scored 32 points, including the game's final six on free throws, while Chris Bosh added 27 as the visiting Miami Heat dropped the Detroit Pistons, 101-98.
Nick Young scored 20 points, while Andray Blatche had 17 points with 10 rebounds and Randy Wittman made a successful coaching debut after replacing fired Flip Saunders, as the Washington Wizards beat the visiting Charlotte Bobcats 92-75.
Elsewhere: the Oklahoma City Thunder squashed the visiting New Orleans Hornets 101-91; the Cleveland Cavaliers topped the visiting New York Knicks 91-81; the San Antonio Spurs routed the visiting Atlanta Hawks 105-83; the visiting New Jersey Nets clipped the Philadelphia 76ers 97-90 in overtime.
Also, The visiting Milwaukee Bucks surprised the Houston Rockets 106-99; the visiting Denver Nuggets crushed the Sacramento Kings 123-93; the Golden State Warriors trimmed the visiting Portland Trail Blazers 101-93; the visiting Toronto Raptors outlasted the Utah Jazz 111-106 in double overtime; and the LA Lakers beat their Staples Center co-tenant rivals LA Clippers 96-91.
