Sweden's Lindstrom upsets favourites in biathlon sprint

Anterselva, Italy - Fredrik Lindstrom of Sweden hit all the targets on his way to a surprise victory in the men's 10km World Cup biathlon sprint in Anterselva, Italy Friday.
Lindstrom clocked 24 minutes 37.9 seconds to beat Evgeny Garanichev of Russia by 18.2 seconds and overall World Cup leader Martin Fourcade of France by 19.1.
Three-time Olympic champion Arnd Peiffer had to make do with fifth place behind German compatriot Andreas Birnbacher.
Fourcade has 498 points at the top of the standings, followed by Emil Hegle Svendsen of Norway on 492 and Birnbacher on 434.
The World Cup continues in Anterselva Saturday with a women's relay and a men's 15km mass start
