Los Angeles - With one victory this season, the Washington Wizards haven't had much to celebrate, but that changed on Wednesday night.
John Wall had 25 points, Nick Young drained five threes en route to 24 points and the league-worst Wizards surprised the league-best Oklahoma City Thunder 105-102.
'This means a lot with the times we've been having right now,' Young said after the Wizards improved to 2-13. 'This is a big game for us. We got to go out and celebrate this night. This is a good one, we played hard.'
The Wizards ended their four-game skid in front of 15,075 wildly cheering fans at Verizon Centre after a final three-point attempt to force overtime from NBA scoring champ Kevin Durant banged off the back of the iron at the buzzer.
'It's not the end of the world,' Durant said. 'We lost to a hungrier team than us,'
Russell Westbrook scored 36 points while Durant finished with 33 for Oklahoma City, which dropped to 12-3 on the season.
'Give them credit, they played hard, they played better than us,' Thunder coach Scott Brooks said. 'They're an NBA team; they have a record they don't want to have but that's what NBA players do, they put their best foot forward and win.'
Elsewhere: San Antonio Spurs 85, Orlando Magic 83 (OT): Frenchman Tony Parker scored 25 points and Gary Neal nailed a three-pointer - his only basket of the night - with 28 seconds left in overtime, and the Spurs edged the Magic for their first road win of the season in six tries.

LA Clippers 91, Dallas Mavericks 89: Chauncey Billups buried the game-winning three-pointer from the right wing with one second left, and Mo Williams scored a season-high 26 points, lifting the Clippers to a dramatic victory over the reigning NBA Champion Mavericks.

Boston Celtics 96, Toronto Raptors 73: Rajon Rondo scored a game-high 21 points before leaving the game in the third quarter with a wrist injury after taking flagrant foul from Linas Kleiza, as the Celtics snapped a five-game skid while sending the visiting Raptors to their sixth straight defeat.
Phoenix Suns 91, New York Knicks 88: Steve Nash hit all six free throws in the final 16 seconds to cap a 26-point, 11-assist outing as the visiting Suns set the Knicks to end a five-game slide.
