Duncan, Spurs shade Suns to stay perfect at home

Los Angeles - Tim Duncan had 24 points with 11 rebounds, and the San Antonio Spurs continued their home mastery, shading the Phoenix Suns, 102-91, on Sunday.
Frenchman Tony Parker collected 17 points and nine assists while DeJuan Blair scored 14 for the Spurs, who improved to 9-0 at home this season.
Polish-native Marcin Gortat had 24 points and 15 rebounds while Steve Nash returned with 20 points and 10 assists after sitting out the last game with a bruised right quadriceps as Phoenix lost its fourth in a row.
David Lee scored 24 points, Monta Ellis added 22, leading the Golden State Warriors to their first road win of the season in five tries, beating the Detroit Pistons, 99--91.
Greg Monroe had a game-high 25 points with eight rebounds for the skidding Pistons, who fell for the seventh time in eight games.
Paul Millsap poured in 16 of his 26 points in the final quarter and grabbed 12 rebounds, while Al Jefferson had 18 points with 12 boards, as the visiting Utah Jazz pulled away for its seventh win in the last eight games after dropping the Denver Nuggets, 106-96.
Italy's Danilo Gallinari and Brazil's Nene led Denver with 18 points apiece.
