Parker rallies Spurs to 27th-straight home win over Warriors

Jan 5, 2012, 6:38 GMT

Los Angeles - Frenchman Tony Parker scored six of his 21 points in the final minute as the short-handed San Antonio Spurs rallied for their 27th-consecutive home win over the Golden State Warriors 101-95.

The Spurs Wednesday night played their first game without two-time All-Star Manu Ginobili. The oft-injured Argentine is to have surgery Thursday to repair a broken bone in his left shooting hand suffered Monday against Minnesota. He was expected to be sidelined for six to eight weeks.

Richard Jefferson tallied 17 points while Tim Duncan finished with 15 points and 11 rebounds for the Spurs, which have won the last 13 meetings in the series dating back to February 14, 1997.

Monta Ellis poured in a season-high 38 points while Stephen Curry added 20 but left the game in the third quarter after reinjuring his right ankle in the Warriors' third-straight loss.

In Orlando, Florida, Dwight Howard had 28 points and 20 rebounds, and Ryan Anderson added 23 points and 15 boards as the host Magic dropped the Wizards to 0-6 this season in a 103-85 game.

LeBron James collected 33 points, 13 assists and eight rebounds, and Chris Bosh scored 22 as the Miami Heat minus sore left-footed Dwyane Wade pounded the visiting Indiana Pacers 118-83.

The visiting Chicago Bulls dismantled the Detroit Pistons 99-83; the host Dallas Mavericks shaded the Phoenix Suns 98-89; the Toronto Raptors routed the visiting Cleveland Cavaliers 92-77; the Charlotte Bobcats blasted the host New York Knicks 118-100; and the Boston Celtics crushed the visiting New Jersey Nets 89-70.

The Memphis Grizzlies trimmed the host Minnesota Timberwolves 90-86; the visiting Philadelphia 76ers took the sting out of the New Orleans Hornets 101-93; the host Denver Nuggets rocked the Sacramento Kings 110-83; and the LA Clippers rolled the visiting Houston Rockets 117-89.
