Northug gets third season win in cross-country World Cup

Rogla, Slovenia - Multiple world and Olympic champion Petter Northug won a 15-kilometres cross-country ski race in a photo-finish on Saturday.
The Norwegian Northug got his third season victory and 13th overall in 42 minutes 42.7 seconds in the mass start event held in the classic style.
Swiss Dario Cologna trailed by two tenth of a second and Alexey Poltoranin of Kazakhstan was third, 1.1 seconds off the pace.
Northug commands the World Cup standings with 600 points and Cologna is second with 402.
A women's 10km mass start race was scheduled for later Saturday and sprint races for men and women for Sunday.
Saturday's other Nordic skiing events were ski-jumping in Engelberg, Switzerland, and a Nordic combined competition in Seefeld, Austria.
