US skier Weibrecht out with shoulder injury

Zauchensee, Austria - Olympic bronze medallist Andrew Weibrecht will miss the rest of the alpine skiing World Cup season with a shoulder injury.
A US ski team spokesman said in Zauchensee Friday that Weibrecht would have surgery on the injury next week.
Weibrecht injured his left shoulder in training before the end of 2010. He underwent surgery on his right shoulder after the winter Olympics last year in Vancouver when he finished third behind Aksel Lund Svindal of Norway and team-mate Bode Miller in the super-g.
