Thousands of Olympic synchronized swimming tickets oversold

London - Organizers of the 2012 London Olympics said on Wednesday that thousands of tickets for four sessions of synchronized swimming were oversold after a technical malfunction.
The organizing committee blamed an 'error in the data entry' and offered fans to swap their tickets for other events.
The committee said in December that some 3,000 synchronized swimming tickets were oversold.
