Jan 11, 2011, 9:35 GMT
Lausanne, Switzerland - Munich handed its bid book for the 2018 Winter Games to the International Olympic Committee on Tuesday, the day after rivals Pyeongchang and Annecy provided their documents.
A Munich delegation led by bid chief Bernhard Schwank and board of trustees leader Katarina Witt submitted the bid book at the IOC headquarters in Lausanne.
The mandatory bid books contain detailled Olympic plans as well as government guarantees.
The 2018 host city is elected by the IOC on July 6 at its general assembly.
An IOC evaluation commission will visit the three candidates from Germany (Munich), France (Annecy) and South Korea (Pyeongchang) in February and March. Its report will be published around one month ahead of the deciding vote.
