Usain Bolt's world record day - sleeping on, TV and nuggets

Beijing - Usain Bolt had just the day every sports fan would imagine an athlete would have before running a 100 metres world record. Bolt won the Olympic gold at the Beijing Games in an astonishing 9.69 seconds. Then, munching on a banana and power bars, he was asked at the post race news conference how his day had been before going to the stadium. 'I never have breakfast. I just got up at 11, watched some TV and had some nuggets. I went back to my room and slept for three more hours. Then I had some nuggets and went out to the track,' said Bolt. The statement was the latest example how relaxed the 21-year-old sensation has been in his four Olympic 100m races. On Saturday, he hadn't even tied one shoelace properly as it dangled around in his world record run.
