Los Angeles, CA - Ryan Getzlaf scored the go-ahead goal with 5:32 left in the third period to help the Stanley Cup champion Anaheim Ducks to a 3-2 win over the Los Angeles Kings at Staples Center.
Jason King had a goal and an assist while Drew Miller also scored for the Ducks, who bounced back from a 5-4 loss to the Kings in the preseason opener for both teams on Thursday.
Jonas Hiller started in net for Anaheim and made 12 saves on 14 shots.
Michael Cammalleri and Tom Preissing each scored a goal while Jason LaBarbera gave up two goals on 13 shots for the Kings.
These two teams will open the 2007-08 regular season overseas with a home-and- home series that will take place on September 29 and September 30 in London. The pair of games will mark the first-ever regular season NHL contests played in Europe.
