Vancouver signs Linden

Vancouver, BC - The Vancouver Canucks signed veteran forward Trevor Linden on Tuesday. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.Linden tallied 12 goals and 13 assists in 80 games last season with the Canucks.Entering his 19th season, the 37-year-old has spent the majority of his career in Vancouver and has scored 368 goals while picking up 487 assists in 1,323 games with the Canucks, New York Islanders, Montreal Canadiens and Washington Capitals.Linden has also played in 124-career playoff games, scoring 34 goals and registering 65 assists.© 2007 The Sports Network
