Blackhawks re-sign D Wisniewski

Chicago, IL - The Chicago Blackhawks re-signed defenseman James Wisniewski to a one-year contract on Friday.Wisniewski posted two goals, eight assists and 39 penalty minutes for Chicago last season before his season was cut short after 50 games due to a torn ACL.Wisniewski, a fifth round pick by the Blackhawks in the 2002 draft, has appeared in 69 games in his brief NHL career, recording four goals and 13 assists.© 2007 The Sports Network
