Wild re-sign netminder Harding

St. Paul, MN - The Minnesota Wild re-signed goaltender Josh Harding to a multi-year deal Wednesday. As per club policy, terms of the contract were not released.
The 23-year-old Harding went 3-2-1 with a 1.16 goals against average last season, his second in the league. He will be the backup to starter Niklas Backstrom.
Harding was selected by Minnesota in the second round (38th overall) of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.
