Habs sign Kostopoulos

Montreal, Quebec - The Montreal Canadiens signed free agent forward Tom Kostopoulos to a two-year contract on Wednesday. Per club policy, financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
The 28-year old Kostopoulos spent the last two seasons in Los Angeles after signing as a free agent with the Kings in 2005. In 2006-07 he played in 76 games, notching seven goals and 15 assists for a total of 22 points.
In 231 career games -- with Pittsburgh and Los Angeles -- Kostopoulos has tallied 25 goals and 45 assists along with 249 penalty minutes.
