Oilers re-sign Torres to three-year deal

Edmonton, AB - The Edmonton Oilers agreed to terms with left winger Raffi Torres on a three-year contract Tuesday.
Torres posted 15 goals, a career-high 19 assists and 88 penalty minutes in 82 games last season for the Oilers.
'We are pleased to have Raffi back in the fold,' said Oilers general manager Kevin Lowe. 'Raffi is a dynamic player, who brings a physical style of play to our team.'
Acquired from the New York Islanders in 2003, Torres has registered 62 goals, 47 assists and 203 penalty minutes in 244 career games with the Oilers. The 25-year-old currently holds the longest active games played streak at 186.
