Flames sign Owen Nolan

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Flames signed free agent forward Owen Nolan to a one-year contract Tuesday. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Nolan, a five-time All-Star, spent last season with the Phoenix Coyotes and scored 16 goals and picked up 24 assists in 76 games.
In 991 career regular season games with Quebec/Colorado, San Jose, Toronto and Phoenix, Nolan has 365 goals and 410 assists.
Nolan was originally drafted first overall by the Quebec Nordiques in the 1990 NHL Entry Draft.
