Broncos sign veteran TE Alexander

Englewood, CO - The Denver Broncos re-signed veteran tight end Stephen Alexander on Monday.In 118 career regular-season games (99 starts), Alexander has totaled 247 receptions for 2,519 yards with 14 touchdowns in stints with Denver (2005-07), Detroit (2004), San Diego (2002-03) and Washington (1998-2001).Alexander rejoins the club after he was waived on Saturday. To make room for him on the roster, the Broncos waived tackle Chad Mustard.© 2007 The Sports Network
