Raiders' QB McCown sidelined with injured finger, foot

Oakland, CA - Oakland Raiders quarterback Josh McCown did not participate in practice Wednesday due to an injured right index finger and a sprained right foot.McCown injured the finger by accidentally hitting offensive lineman Cornell Green's helmet on the final play of Oakland's season opener, when the Detroit Lions coughed up a 17- point lead but rallied to beat the Raiders, 36-21, at McAfee Coliseum.McCown, who got the nod over Daunte Culpepper as the Raiders waited for top pick JaMarcus Russell to sign a contract, went 30-of-40 for 313 yards with two touchdowns and two picks against his former team.The Raiders face the Broncos in Denver on Sunday.© 2007 The Sports Network
