Texans' Simmons carted off field versus KC

Houston, TX - Houston Texans starting strong safety Jason Simmons was carted off the field in Sunday's game versus the Kansas City Chiefs with a torn patellar tendon in his left knee.
The injury occurred with 6:37 left in the second quarter when Simmons attempted to bring down Chiefs running back Larry Johnson.
The 10-year veteran from Arizona State had one interception and 47 total tackles in 16 games last season.
