Broncos cut LB Mallard

Englewood, CO - The Denver Broncos released journeyman linebacker Wesly Mallard on Tuesday.
Mallard, 28, signed on with the club on the eve of training camp this year. He has played six seasons in the NFL, the last two with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he appeared in all 16 games in 2006, logging 12 tackles. His career also includes a season with the Patriots, and three seasons with the New York Giants.
