New York, NY - San Diego running back LaDanian Tomlinson, Miami defensive end Jason Taylor and Baltimore kick returner B.J. Sams were named the AFC Players of the Weeks for their efforts in Week 11.
Tomlinson scored four touchdowns in the Chargers' 35-27 win at Denver. He had 105 yards rushing with three TDs and 75 yards and a score on three receptions, as San Diego became the first team in league history to rally from 17 points down in consecutive games to win. The six-year veteran became the youngest player to reach the 100-TD plateau, ending the game with 102.
This is the second time in the last three weeks that Tomlinson has been named the Offensive Player of the Week. It was the eighth honor in his career.
Taylor also won the weekly honor for the second time in three weeks, thanks to solid performance in a 24-20 win over Minnesota. He had one sack, five tackles, two forced fumbles and returned an interception for a touchdown to help Miami win its third straight game.
Sams returned three punts and three kickoffs for a combined 212 yards as the Ravens defeated the Falcons 24-10 to improved to 8-2 for the first time in club history. Sams had 121 yards in punt returns and 91 yards in kickoff returns.
