L.T. headlines AFC Players of the Week

New York, NY - San Diego Chargers running back LaDanian Tomlinson, Miami Dolphins defensive end Jason Taylor and Buffalo Bills punter Brian Moorman were named the AFC Players of the Week Wednesday for their effort during Week 9 action.
Tomlinson, the Offensive Player of the Week for the first time this season and seventh time in his career, ran for 172 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's 32-25 win. He now has 1,151 yards from scrimmage and 14 touchdowns this season, both marks best in the NFL.
Taylor, the Defensive Player of the Week winner, returned an interception for a touchdown, had a sack and forced a fumble to help lead a Dolphins over the Bears 31-13. The Miami defense forced six turnovers in the game, handing Chicago its first defeat of the season. This was Taylor's sixth career player of the week award.
Moorman, now a three-time winner of the Special Teams Player of the Week award, punted eight times for a 46.3-yard net average in the Bills' 24-10 win over Green Bay in Buffalo.
