Report: Celtics sign F Posey

Boston, MA - The Boston Celtics have reportedly agreed to terms with free agent James Posey.The Boston Globe, citing a league source, reports that Posey's deal will pay him $7 million over two years with Boston, with the second year being a player option.Posey averaged 7.7 points and 5.0 rebounds in 71 games for Miami last season, including 19 starts. The eight-year NBA veteran owns career averages of 9.5 points and 4.9 rebounds with Denver, Houston, Memphis and Miami.© 2007 The Sports Network
