Miller rules out return to NBA

Indianapolis, IN - Former Indiana Pacers guard Reggie Miller has reportedly ruled out a return to the NBA.Miller told the Indianapolis Star he has decided to not make a comeback with the Boston Celtics or anybody else after spending two weeks pushing his body to see how it might react to the punishment of a long NBA season. The Celtics were pursuing Miller heavily over the past few weeks.'That's it,' Miller told the newspaper by telephone from his home in Malibu, California. 'Physically, I know I could have done it. But mentally, when you do something like this, you've either got to be all in or all out. And I've decided I'm all out.'The sharp-shooting Miller retired after the 2005 NBA playoffs. He averaged 18.2 points per game in 18 brilliant seasons with the Pacers and is the NBA's all-time leader in three-pointers.Miller currently works on the NBA's TNT broadcasts and in film production.© 2007 The Sports Network
