T-Wolves' Madsen undergoes shoulder surgery

Minneapolis, MN - The Minnesota Timberwolves announced that forward Mark Madsen underwent successful right shoulder pectoral surgery on Friday.The surgery was performed at the TRIA Orthopaedic Center and Madsen is expected to make a full recovery after three months of rehabilitation.According to the Minnesota Star Tribune, Madsen was injured in a watercraft accident on Monday.In 56 games last year for Minnesota, Madsen averaged 1.1 points and 1.6 rebounds.© 2007 The Sports Network
