Grizzlies sign first round pick Conley

Memphis, TN - The Memphis Grizzlies signed first-round draft pick Mike Conley on Monday. Per team policy, no financial terms of the deal were disclosed.The former Ohio State guard, who played one year for the Buckeyes, was chosen for the Big Ten All-Tournament Team as a freshman.The Indianapolis native started all 39 games for the Buckeyes and averaged 11.3 points per game, 6.1 assists and 2.2 steals per game.Conley, the fourth overall selection in the 2007 NBA Draft, averaged 11.4 points, 5.2 assists and a team-high 39.8 minutes in five games with the Grizzlies at the 2007 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.© 2007 The Sports Network
