Knicks sign first-round pick F Chandler

New York, NY - The New York Knicks agreed to terms with their first round pick on Friday, signing forward Wilson Chandler to a contract.
Chandler, taken with the 23rd overall selection as an early entry candidate out of DePaul, averaged 12.9 points and 7.1 rebounds in two seasons for the Blue Demons. The 6-foot-8, 230-pound forward left DePaul ranked 10th on the school's all-time list for career blocked shots with 86.
In five games for New York's summer league team in Las Vegas, Chandler averaged 13.4 points and 5.2 rebounds.
