Nets waive Adams

East Rutherford, NJ - The New Jersey Nets waived guard Hassan Adams on Saturday.In his rookie season last year with the Nets, the former Arizona product averaged 2.9 points and 1.3 rebounds in 61 games, including eight starts.The Nets originally selected Adams with the 54th overall pick in the 2006 NBA Draft.© 2007 The Sports Network
