Atlanta, GA - The Atlanta Hawks signed first-round picks Al Horford and Acie Law to multi-year contracts on Monday.
Horford and Law, picked No. 4 and 11 respectively, are now clear to participate in the Hawks' rookie free agent camp which begins Monday night at Philips Arena.
The 6-foot-10, 245-pound Horford captured two NCAA titles as a member of the back-to-back national champion Florida Gators before entering the 2007 draft as an early-entry candidate. A three-year starter, Horford scored 13.2 points per game, grabbed 9.5 rebounds and rejected 1.8 shots this past season.
Law was a finalist for the Naismith and Wooden Awards after pacing Texas A&M with 18.1 points and five assists per game in 2006-07.
The consensus first team All-American finished his career as the Aggies' third all-time leading scorer (1,669 points) and assists king (545).
