Report: Lakers, Walton agree on six-year deal

Los Angeles, CA - The Los Angeles Lakers have reportedly re-signed free agent Luke Walton to a six-year contract on Sunday.
According to a report in the Los Angeles Times, both sides reached an agreement on a new six-year deal worth $30 million.
Walton, taken by the Lakers in the second round of the 2003 draft, averaged career-highs of 11.4 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.3 assists last season, starting all 60 games in which he played.
Free agents are unable to formally sign contracts before July 11.
