Bosh, Raptors claw Bucks

Mar 13, 2007, 4:00 GMT

Milwaukee, WI - Chris Bosh posted 25 points and 10 rebounds, as the Atlantic Division-leading Toronto Raptors hit the road for a 108-93 win over the Milwaukee Bucks at the Bradley Center.

T.J. Ford notched 19 points and nine assists in his second game in Milwaukee since being traded for Charlie Villanueva in the offseason.

'He [Ford] played well,' Toronto coach Sam Mitchell said. 'He played well yesterday. We need T.J. and Chris [Bosh] to play like that. They played really well for us tonight.'

Andrea Bargnani netted 12 points for Toronto, which has won three straight after a three-game slide. Juan Dixon added 10 points for Toronto, which lost its last two games on the road and is 13-20 as the visitor this season.

Michael Redd scored 29 points for Milwaukee, which has lost four of its last five games, including Saturday's 94-92 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Charlie Bell notched 25 points and seven boards and Mo Williams netted 18 points and grabbed eight boards for the Bucks, who fell to 1-2 on a seven-game homestand. The Bucks will also host San Antonio, Charlotte, the Los Angeles Clippers and Detroit on the stand, and are 14-15 at the Bradley Center this season.

With the score deadlocked at 14 midway through the first, Toronto set the pace on a 20-4 run down the stretch. Milwaukee, though, put out the fire by scoring six straight in the final minute for a 34-24 deficit heading into the second.

'I thought that was probably our worst defensive half effort-wise all season,' Milwaukee coach Terry Stotts said. 'I'm very disappointed, very angry with our effort in the first half defensively.'

Toronto regained control in the second quarter, adding three points to its margin, for a 62-46 advantage heading into the locker room.

The Bucks stayed competitive by closing the third quarter on an 8-1 burst capped by a pair of Redd free throws with two ticks left, for an 86-76 deficit heading into the fourth.

Bell's reverse layup with 5:03 to go in the fourth cut the Bucks' deficit to single digits, 95-87, but a Ford free throw with 1:48 left put the Raptors back up by 10, 101-91, as they cruised to victory.
