Lakers finish road swing in Charlotte

(Sports Network) - Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers wrap up a six-game road trip tonight when they take on the Charlotte Bobcats.
Los Angeles is 3-2 so far on the trip and posted a 106-93 win over the Orlando Magic on Wednesday at TD Waterhouse Arena. Kobe Bryant scored 27 points and dished out seven assists in the win.
Smush Parker had a season-high 20 points for the Lakers, who improved to 6-6 away from the Staples Center this season. Andrew Bynum scored 13 points off the bench for the Lakers, who have won three of their last four games overall.
The Lakers are scheduled to host the new-look Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday at the Staples Center.
The Bobcats, meanwhile, have lost three straight, five of six and nine of their last 11 games. On Wednesday they dropped a 114-107 decision to the Washington Wizards at home.
Gerald Wallace had season-highs of 40 points and 14 rebounds for the Bobcats, who fell to 5-10 as the host this season. Raymond Felton had 22 points and eight assists and rookie Adam Morrison scored 17 points and dished out five assists.
Charlotte is 5-10 at Charlotte Bobcats Arena. The Bobcats have dropped five of their last seven at home.
Los Angeles went 1-1 against the Bobcats last season and has won three of the four all-time meetings.
