Ordonez replaces Ramirez for Mid-Summer Classic

New York, NY - Detroit Tigers outfielder Magglio Ordonez replaced Boston Red Sox outfielder Manny Ramirez for Tuesday's All-Star game in Pittsburgh.
Ramirez, who will sit out the contest with soreness in his right knee, is hitting .310 with 24 homers and 65 RBI. He received 3,101,161 votes, which was the most by any American League player.
Ordonez is hitting .307 with 15 homers and 59 RBI for the surprising AL Central leading Tigers.
