Virginia's Singletary to declare for draft
Apr 24, 2007, 22:15 GMT
Charlottesville, VA - Virginia guard Sean Singletary, a junior, announced his intention on Tuesday to declare for the NBA draft, but will not hire an agent.
If Singletary does not hire an agent he has until June 18 to withdraw his name from consideration in the June 28 draft, and return to Virginia for his senior year.
Singletary has been a first-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference selection for the last two seasons. He averaged 19 points, 4.7 assists and 4.6 rebounds per game last season for the 21-11 Cavaliers, who tied for the ACC's regular season title with North Carolina and reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
