Johnson takes home Biletnikoff Award

Orlando, FL - Georgia Tech's Calvin Johnson was named the winner of the 2006 Biletnikoff Award as the nation's top wide receiver.
Johnson has 59 catches for 899 yards with 13 touchdowns this season. He has a career total of 26 TDs, adding to his Georgia Tech career record and moving into seventh place in ACC history. In his career, he has accounted for 40 percent of Tech's passing yards and 30 percent of the teams completions while catching 26 of the Jackets' 51 touchdown passes.
Notre Dame's Jeff Samardzija and Rice's Jarrett Dillard were the other finalists.
Oregon State's Mike Hass was named the winner of the 2005 Biletnikoff Award.
