Quiros wins Shot of the Month for February

Berlin - The European Tour announced on Tuesday that Spanish golfer Alvaro Quiros' hole in one at the 11th at the Dubai Desert Classic won the European Tour Shot of the Month Award for February.
The 28-year-old, who went on to win the tournament by a single shot, said his hole in one in the final round was 'the perfect shot'.
'The most memorable moment of the week, without doubt, was the hole in one. It's always special to make a hole in one, but to do it in a final round when you're in contention was even more special.'
The winner is chosen by golfing fans via the website www.europeantour.com and automatically become finalist in the European Tour Shot of the Year award.
Quiros joins January winner Paul Casey as the first two finalists for the year-end award.
