Mar 26, 2007, 18:40 GMT

Philadelphia, PA - Tiger Woods extended his lead atop the latest World Golf Rankings with a win Sunday at the WGC-CA Championship.

Woods' lead moved from 9.99 average points to 11.73 average points. Fellow Americans Jim Furyk and Phil Mickelson remained two and three behind Woods.

South African Ernie Els tied for 11th behind Woods and that helped him jump two spots to No. 4 this week. To make room for Els, Adam Scott and Henrik Stenson each dipped one place.

The following nine players held steady in the seventh through 15th places: Vijay Singh, Geoff Ogilvy, Retief Goosen, Padraig Harrington, Luke Donald, Trevor Immelman, Sergio Garcia, Paul Casey and Charles Howell III.

Nick O'Hern was up one to 16, while Robert Allenby jumped four places to 17th after sharing third at Doral.

Davis Love III was down two to 18th. David Howell held on to the 19th slot and David Toms fell two to 20th. Colin Montgomerie slid out of the top 20 as he fell two places to 22nd.

In between those two, Brett Wetterich soared 23 places to 21st in the rankings after finishing second behind Woods on Sunday.
